Question Glock Short Frame (SF) models

So what's the deal with them, that much better? I find it hard to believe that shaving off .1" here and there makes it that much better than the regular model. Is the big draw the shorter trigger or what? Somebody help me out here, I'm in the market for a Glock 21 and am trying to figure out whether to go SF or not.

The SF models did not seem much better than the regular ones for me.
Some folks like them though.

A buddy of mine who is in the academy got a G21 SF for Father's Day so I went over and fondled it. I really like it - in fact, I think it is now the leading candidate for my next purchase.

The SF versions of the 20/21 are a approximately 1/16 of an inch thinner. It may not sound like much but it greatly change the feelt/fit.

I have a 21SF and like it. I felt it was a better choice than the the 22 for duty. I am not a fan of the 40S&W.

I personally wasnt a fan of the SF and didnt notice much of a "feel" difference between it and my gen 3 model 22. The XDM is very nice.... Im gonna sell everything i own and buy an STI from Dawson. lol.. Friggin nice weapons but damn on those prices. An Edge with the reliability package is just over 2K..
