Dumbass of the day...

TYLER, Texas — Police say an East Texas man has outsmarted himself in trying to get a quicker response from officers to an alleged assault.
Tyler police say 38-year-old Mark Anthony Johnson called 911 on Monday night and reported that he'd just committed a homicide and was armed with a weapon.

They found Johnson, who allegedly told them the homicide was a ruse to get a quicker response to what his real beef was, a simple assault complaint.
Indeed, the Tyler police did act quickly. They arrested Johnson and charged him with filing a false report. He's in the Smith County Jail with bond set at $3,000. A jail spokeswoman says she has no record of an attorney for him.

I LOOOOOVE arresting folks for false report.
I took a report from a crackhead who claimed he was robbed "randomly". Well he did not think we would find the "suspect" but we found him nearby. He was one of our local crack dealers. When I snagged him up he was adamant about not robbing the turd but he did say he sold him $100 in crack. He shorted the guy a little (the white-boy special) but he denied any robbery.
When I confronted the original "robbery" victim he fessed up to it. He got a ride to jail for false report to peace officer.

Lesson, when you buy crack and are not happy with your purchase, do not call the police and make up some crazy story.:asshat:
