So, 0830 rolls around and my phone rings... Agency "A" whom I have applied with tells me I need to get with my background investigator. Keeping in mind what a good buddy told me about wearing a suit any time you have contact with your prospective agency, i put on my stud duds.

After I speak with agency "A" I head over to department "B", where I had been interested in going and figured I would drop off my completed application for them since I already am wearing my suit, the app is in my truck...etc..etc..

I drop off my app, speak briefly with the chief, and bug out to go pick up my kids from school. No sooner than I pull out of the department onto the highway, my friggin radiator explodes water/coolant/rucking RUST all over my truck. I pull over...in my duds...and manage to tear up a perfectly good $800 suit. I know what your thinking...."Dont buy an $800 suit asshole and that wont be an issue." Your right, but I got it on sale for $150 cause my wife knows how to bargain shop. (Highland Mall Dillards FYI)

Just wanted to bitch for a whole hot min, thanks for wasting 5 min to read this babble....

Well you are a member of the law enforcement community already. You did a good job and got shit on for your troubles.
Next time, change a tire on the side of the road in your skivvies. At minimum someone will call the police and you can have a patrol unit help you change the tire. Or if you play your cards right, you can have a free ride to the Austin State Hospital where they give you a cool white jacket and lots of free meds injected into your arm.

Tell em you want the Officer Feet special (hold the lube).
Now get back to work.

LMAO... Ya, Im willing to bet me on the side of the road in skivvies would get DPS 100 circling overhead and some prime time on the evening news. Im willing to do pretty much anything for a good laugh though. Went to ASH with one of the guys from CIT to drop off an EDP... That is the place im headed the day I retire, they got the good meds on taxpayer dollars.. I was amazed at how many people "hollywood" to get down there.
