Hate to sound like a broken record, but SAFARILAND!

I have a hinge on the back side and a link up front both in Safariland open tops. Make sure that when you buy your cases you know if you are looking for a hinge or a link case. The bottoms are different and you can't fit a hinge set in a link case or vice versa.

Never had a problem with mine. You may want to hit the inside of them with silicone spray until they break in. Make sure the spray dries before you insert cuffs. (same goes for your holster, BTW)

Don't buy the kind that hold your cuffs upside down. Right side up is the only way to go.

Oh yeah I forgot. I got to searching and got Google-itis. I have a field trip planned for CAL when he comes to pay a visit.

I just picked up a Safariland open top case. Thanks for the input.

I believe I have Safariland too but I am away from my belt right now. Strangely enough, the answer to most police duty belt questions is answered with "Safariland".

I received the case in the mail yesterday and I must say that I love it.

FYI there are two different cases. One has a flat bottom for hinged cuffs and the other has a slight "vee" to it for chain cuffs. I ended up buying two flat bottomed ones by accident and my chain cuffs bounce around a bit inside it but it just makes noise and does not fall out.

I got the ones for hinged to go with my hinged Peerless cuffs.

I didn't know the difference when I started either. I only needed one set of cuffs for the academy and bought a chain case for a hinged set.

Thankfully, my brother had an extra hinged case lying around that I acquired. I later bought a hinged case and a chain cuff to complete the double set.
