Now I like animals & all, but this dude has more patience with the cat than I would. He does a good job of keeping his composure.

I would have tossed that thing across the open field. He must be familiar with the cat because he sure seems to take it all in stride.


When my brother was a rookie he got a call for a loose chicken downtown that was running in and out of traffic. He had to catch it and take it to animal control.

Guys were clucking over the radio...the Captain was not happy about that but it sure sounded funny!!!

There was an incident where two of our officers had to go speak with a subject about a case. The subject had like 4 kids under 6 running around in the house. The kids kept running around, coming up behind the officers and pushing the orange panic buttons on their radios. Must have happened like 4 times in 15 minutes. That sets off an alarm inside the station and makes the in car computer screens flash red and posts a message stating "Badge #376 needs immediate assistance at [address]". It calls in the cavalry. When that button gets pushed everyone heads that way.

They realized it and called out "accidental" each time. But it sure left us wondering what the hell was going on.

I don't know why they didn't throttle the little bastards!!!
